From a Political Poet

As a young boy I had the privilege of listening to my mother read her poetry to me.  I was amazed at the beauty of her poetry.  I suppose I inherited the passion for writing as a result.  While not all my poems are political, I have mixed my love of poetry with my interest in politics, thus the Political Poet.
