What is truth and how do you know it

Does it come from your heart do your actions show it

Does it come from the media, of this I doubt

Is truth quiet or for truth must you shout

Is truth from man or from books you read

Or is there an ultimate truth instead

When you hear the truth is it what you believe

Or do you realize how many deceive

Do you speak the truth as you know it to be

That what you speak may not be truth to me

So how does one know where the truth really lies

how many falsehoods are truth in disguise

God spoke to Moses and said I am as I am

The burning bush and the sacrificial lamb

Jesus is the only truth and the only way

It is in Jesus whom you must trust today

For only He can show you the one true way
